Arctic Ice: Under The Midnight Sun
This project was created as part of the Explorer’s Club Young Explorers Program. Made in collaboration with musician Alice Boyd, it received support from Fujifilm, Adventure Canada, and Biophonica. Brian Eno even called it “beautiful”!
The film screened at the Royal Geographical Society as part of London Climate Action Week, at the Guildhall, was selected at festivals including Planet in Focus, Wild & Scenic, Academie Olomouc, Innsbruck Nature Film Festival, Water - Sea - Oceans, Kendal Mountain Festival, Patagonia Eco Film Festival, and won best music film at Tulum World Environment Film Festival. It was distributed by Minute Shorts and Kendal Mountain Player.
Cloudline: Where Women Rise
Cloudline: Where Women Rise was commissioned by UK-Kenyan NGO Chameleon Buddies. It was created to inspire women who have experienced birth trauma or are living with an ostomy, and serve as an awareness tool for the foundation.
Cloudline is being released Summer 2026, with a sold out premiere in Alnwick, followed by screenings at Parliament and throughout the UK. It is also available for purchase here.
To Know A Mountain
I co-directed, shot, and edited this short documentary about an expedition following in the footsteps of Scottish writer and explorer Nan Shepherd. The film spotlighted women who don’t see themselves in traditional adventure documentaries, where relentless pushes for the summit take precedence over enjoying time out in nature.
To Know A Mountain gained grassroots support and was viewed thousands of times in festivals, online, and through screenings. It premiered at Kendal Mountain Festival, was shown at the Royal Geographical Society, in partnerships with the National Trust, Patagonia Bristol, and a sold out screening tour with Alpkit.
Out Stack!
90 North Foundation commissioned a film about an expedition to the northern most rock of the UK. As shooting director, animator, and editor, I designed the style & tone of the film and delivered a 15 minute piece. The goal of the film was to connect the British public to how close they are to an unthawing arctic.
The film is being used as an outreach tool by the foundation, as well as through release on Youtube. In an era with intense issue overwhelm, the film was designed to be humorous and lighthearted in order to cut through the noise of doom and gloom narratives while still conveying the core messaging.
